Sometimes when you least expect it somthing you've hoped for falls into your lap. Infact isn't it exactly when you stop looking for somthing it arrives?

Ever heard of a band called "Espadrille"?
Well if you have then please let me know 'cause we'll need to come up for a new name for the band I'm in.

I wonder how long it would take to read all the backdated entried of the people I've lost touch with. Since my last post people have been responding to say the miss me and I want to say that
"I miss you too!"
and
"what have you been up to?"
But of course actually catching up is hard to do when it's been so long and you're sending little messages to one another that everyone can read. hmmmmm..............

I don't really know why, but I just got the urge to look on here. I haven't done that in ages. Maybe I just need the past sometimes. Somthing about reading old entries and peoples new posts made me feel like saying somthing. Unimportant and pointless as it is of me, this was important to me at one time.

Things have moved and changed and turned upside down and this part of my life has faded so much, yet I still find myself in the same situations. So whether or not anyone will read this I will post it and present a question to the universe:
If one is to truly change, do they have to leave the past entirely behind?

I think I'm becoming an alcoholic.
Or maybe I just have my reasons to drink.
It feels long at the end of the day.
But there's still way too much time to think.
And when it all sets in.
You wonder why you chose this direction.
Mood swings back and for at will.
There are tears in every inflection.
So drunken stupor it is for me.
And probably a ciggarette or two.
When at last the bottles gone.
I guess sleep is the only thing left to do.

My father's fall

So wednesday morning I'm at work. Start doing my set up and then realize that Jason is not going to be on time, again. So I go and start setting up the patio so it'll be done in time for open. Then Jason calls 5 minutes till open. He lost his keys in a soccer field, just got in the house by banging on the door to wake up his roommate and had no way of calling till that point. So Amy (who was managing) goes to pick him up leaving the r estaurant un opened. Luckily my dad's there so he can open for us.
So I get two tables right away and start taking orders. The second table was upstairs. So I'm walking down the stairs to get drinks when I look outside and watch my father fall off the patio chair he was standing on to fix a fan. I run. When I got ou t to him he couldn't talk to me, was in too much pain, he says now that he didn't even realize it was me. Finally he's able to respond to my question of should I call 911. Chaos and much c ommotion of getting him off his arm - which was pinned under him w hen he fell - and then getting the paramedics to actually help and not be idiots.
So finally they got him in the ambulance and my mom arrived and they left for the hospital. Turns out he broke his collar bone and although he hit his head, it has not effected his concussion, thank god! But he will be wearing his brace and still in recovery for my sisters wedding. Good to know he will recover though.

So little time and way too much shit to do!

God I have no time lately. But ok I'm on my way out for Coffee with Sallie - before she goes home to Athens (GA) - and at my parents for laundry, so I have brief use of online. Still no online at my place. Lazy me! But quick update:

*Craziness not to be completely explained, but I'm now back together with last summers Mike - all is good, but maybe too fast!
*Am living with kick ass roomates who I have a bad tendancy to stay up till 6am when needing to be at work at 10:30 drinking wine and chatting
*Sister is getting married in a little over a month - eek!
*May no longer have mind at all.....completely lost!

Random question I heard last night:
If you're life were going to be on tv would it be
